AIM: Within this section, I will be discussing the process in which I got the image for my poster.
OBJECTIVE: I will achieve my aim by discussing why I chose my poster locations, why I chose the angle I did and what devices I used to capture the images for my posters.

My final images for my film posters were taken on my Iphone. I decided to do this because it was easy to take pictures on, it is light and takes good quality pictures. Furthermore, an Iphone allowed me to take as many photos as I wanted and easily email them to myself. I chose to shoot in the park because it is an open space and it is where the opening shot of my film was shot. For the other poster I chose to shoot the image by some scafolding that I found because I wanted it to reflect a run down estate without revealing the main location of the film. Unfortunately, during shooting my film poster, it was a grey day and the lighting wasn't great. However, this was improved during the editing in photoshop where I played with the brightness and contrast.
Draft 1
Firstly, I thought this image would be a good poster. However, I felt my protagonists didn't look intimidating and there is no sense of the film's genre. In addition, for my teenage poster I wanted a landscape photo. Furthermore, this was a test shoot so my third actor wasn't there, the position that my two characters are in wouldn't necessarily work with three of them so I decided to change it. I also changed the location of this shot because this is where my other film poster was shot.
Draft 2
Here, I had the location I wanted, however I felt the image was too far away and therefore didn't look intimidating enough. In addition, I felt that there was too much open space on the left. I then decided to have one protagonist looking into the camera to have the illusion that these gangsters are intimidating, thus making teenagers want to go and see the film.
Draft 1
For this image, I knew exactly what I wanted it to look like. However, the image to the left wasn't quite right. Firstly my actor was wearing ugg boots which could be seen in the shot. Also, I didn't like the fact that there was a bin the shot. I wanted the location of the poster to be simply trees and grass because I was planning on overlaying textured paper onto it and I didn't want it to be too busy.
