FONTS AND LAYOUTS TEST
POSTER 1
The fonts above were to replicate the "handwritten" text on the Modern Times poster, however I felt they didn't stand out enough on my poster and they didn't look good with the other fonts. The comedy text didn't seem to represent any form of comedy in my opinion. In addition, I felt it looked too childlike.
I went with these fonts because I felt that they went well with the genre of my film.
POSTER 2
Firstly, I looked at this font because it seemed quite comical, however it was too hard to read and made my poster chaotic.
I then looked at this font because it was easier to read but I thought it would connote too much violence which defeats the object of my film.
I chose this font in the end because it was simple, easy to read and portrayed gangsters but not necessarily violence.
